Sorry. This posting is a private joke (that I'll make public right away, here and now) between self and sister. You won't find it very funny but I must, out of fairness to you, reveal it. And the even funnier thing is, sister can't access comments on my blog for some reason so she'll not know I'm saying this. Tee hee. (Ooohhh she'll be so frustrated when she sees "comments:1" and can't have a look!!
Here goes: I had an earlier posting about the scary increase in popularity of the BNP (which I have now withdrawn because I want to improve upon it...). Anyhow, in that posting I referred to a book that sister borrowed from me yonks ago and has not returned. Sister e-mailed me firstly to question whether I'd accidently published my posting on the BNP without finishing it (hence my withdrawing it for further editing(!)) and secondly to ask whether I'd mentioned the book that she'd borrowed by way of an enormous hint to her that I'd like it returning. And, she added, would I be referring to my biography of Judy Garland in a future posting as she's had hold of that for ages too. So it just had to be done right away.
And "Winnie"? Well, that's just what we call each other.
Do you know, not only are there some scary similarities between ourselves after all these years, but we seem to have similar relationships with our sisters. Help! Explains the BNP bit though...
