Anne and Louise have this and it's only right and proper that I should too.

The idea is that you copy and paste this into the comments section and then answer the questions. I'll put my body armour on! (Re question 4, I would love it if a man were to answer this. I used to wish that I could invent a computer into which you could type a name, press "return" and it would reveal whether said person "fancied you or not"!! I had so many crushes as a young person. I kept very quiet about most of them. Mine was very much a tale of unrequited love ... at least I think it was. I have been tempted to list all my crushes on my friends reunited entry so that those listed could tell me now what they thought of me then!! - go on, dare me!!)

01. Who are you?
02. Are we friends?
03. When and how did we meet?
04. Do/Did you have a crush on me?
05. Would you kiss me?
06. Describe me in one word.
07. What was your first impression?
08. Do you still think that way about me now?
09. What reminds you of me?
10. If you could give me anything what would it be?
11. How well do you know me?
12. When’s the last time you saw me?
13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn’t?
14. Are you going to put this on your blog/journal and see what I say about you?

It is now approx 20 minutes since I posted this and no-one has done it yet. You do know that I'm going to be checking this avidly on a minute-by-minute basis, don't you, to see what people have to say!!

Saddo.

OK, OK - I've just got in from Toddlers, haven't even unpacked the shopping from the pushchair yet (and some of it needs to go in the fridge...) and I'm answering already - see, I'm doing my best!!

01. Who are you? Anne
02. Are we friends? Best of friends (but not exclusive lol.)
03. When and how did we meet? Apparently in the veggie canteen at Owens Park in 1986. (Shamefully I don't remember actually meeting you, but I do remember how delighted I was when you agreed to sing in Gates of Greenham.)
04. Do/Did you have a crush on me? No, but if I were wired differently I'm sure I would.
05. Would you kiss me? More comfortable not.
06. Describe me in one word. (Oh oh, not fair, not fair - one word is NOT enough - there are some good ones, but I want to explain them...) Human
07. What was your first impression? I can't remember... (sorry)
08. Do you still think that way about me now? No - definitely much more memorable now! You are one of my closest friends, the one with whom I feel I share the most common experiences and I'm so delighted that we had children at the same time so we can share that too.
09. What reminds you of me? All the silly things that happen during the day that I want to tell to someone who won't judge me.
10. If you could give me anything what would it be? A magic wand - it could be sooooo useful.
11. How well do you know me? Pretty well I think
12. When’s the last time you saw me? Easter holidays
13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn’t? I don't think so.
14. Are you going to put this on your blog/journal and see what I say about you? Already done!

Hey. That's the second time someone's described me as "human". The first time was when I worked at the BBC and a colleague thanked me for "being human"!

I hope that your chilled goods remained fresh and thank you for your swift response (which I read earlier but had to dash off to take Michael to nursery - he was nearly late all because of my blogging!!!)

Alright, I'll give it a try:

01. Who are you?

That is a very philosophical question. I am a mother, friend, woman, more, more... If I had to name myself I think I'd use "Beautiful".

02. Are we friends?

Definately.. we have an interest to get to know each other.. in my mind, that is friendship.

03. When and how did we meet?

Recently, on the internet.

04. Do/Did you have a crush on me?

A crush? Well.. perhaps if we were doing some self defense exercise, I may just grab you, and place my weight on you. THEN I'd have a crush on you.

05. Would you kiss me?

It would be rather difficult to get physically in the proximate same area as you. So I would have to say the chances are very low that we would ever be close enough to kiss. BUT should I ever be in London, I would definately scoot over, and give you a congenial smack on the cheek.

06. Describe me in one word.

Lovely

07. What was your first impression?

That you are artistic, friendly, and open.

08. Do you still think that way about me now?

Sure, you haven't proven me wrong

09. What reminds you of me?

Knitting.. for some reason that variagated scarf sticks in my mind.

10. If you could give me anything what would it be?

A pat on the back.

11. How well do you know me?

Just started our chatting together.. so we barely are past the "hello" stage, if you ask me.

12. When’s the last time you saw me?

Pictures? When I opened this forum, today.

13. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn’t?

Not yet..

14. Are you going to put this on your blog/journal and see what I say about you?

No.. I'm sorry, but my weblog/journal is strictly dedicated towards karate... and my impressions, thoughts of martial arts. But it was fun answering these questions on your weblog. Thank you for the opportunity

"06. Describe me in one word: Fit"

Thank you for the compliment. I wish I really lived up to the idea of being "fit".. as is I'm just surviving each class. One day I will fit the description of being "fit".

"08. Do you still think that way about me now?
Yes, and I now know that there is more to you than martial arts. 7 children? How? How 7 children _and_ two martial arts? "

How do I train in the arts with 7 children? Teamwork! It's pretty hectic. I make sure that supper is ready, cooked, and served. I sit down and check homework, cuddle, talk, snuggle, and discipline. Then when all is settled, and Dad is ready to take over the command... around 6 pm, I take off for the dojo to train until 10:30 pm. I tease my children that I will attend their concerts as long as it doesn't fall on a karate class night. The kids looked at me and said "but Mom? Almost EVERY night is a karate night!" It's so true. Well.. they know that I'd go to their concert before I'd go to karate. My family comes first. My kids, and husband come and train with me on half of the nights.

"10. If you could give me anything what would it be?
Your very own dojo"

Well.. THANK you! That would be an awesome gift! How did you know that I would want that??

"11. How well do you know me?
but I'm guessing: medium height, dark shortish hair that's wavey or curly; very toned body, animated face, lots of smiles and laughter, very little sitting still... am I at all right?"

Hmmm... You are pretty close: I am medium height with an animated face, and lots of smiles and laughter, and very little sitting still.

My hair is salt and peppered grey and black and long. I just refuse to follow the latest craze of dying my hair. It is almost always in a ponytail which makes it look short and curly. So that is also very close..

BUT.. I am NOT toned... oh heck no. I'm overweight. I'm a roly poly bouncy happy lady. I'm working towards a healthier diet filled with fruits and vegtables, and I've lowered the amount of meats in my diet. Haven't seen much of a change in my weight though my stamina during training has increased. I can last alot longer than I used to.
